Top 5 Home Remedies For Black Spots

Almost all of us have some or the other kind of Black spots on the face. While some of us may have smaller and lesser visible spots, some people have bigger patches and highly visible areas of dark spots on the face. Black spots are also known as freckles, sunspots, age spots etc. and are caused by excess exposure of the skin to the sun. Pollution and chemicals also play a role in this, but the main factor behind Black spots is over exposure to the harmful rays of the sun. These spots are very hard to remove and medical treatments are not always helpful either.

Black spots are unfortunately more prominent on the facial skin and areas like the arms, shoulders, neck and back where the sun exposure is most. They generally start appearing after the age of fifty though youngsters too get them due to over exposure to sun and other factors. Black spots are not a skin diseases or disorder and hence should not be mulled over too much. However, they are a huge cosmetic concern to many and must be dealt with at no cost.                                                            
                         
Sandalwood

Sandalwood is a best antiseptic and also acts as an anti-aging agent. You can make a pack at home remedies  with some sandalwood powder, glycerin, rose water and lemon juice. Apply this homemade pack on the brown skin patches and leave it to dry on its own. Wash it off with cold water. Following this every day will eliminate dark spots on skin. Massage the affected skin area with sandalwood oil once in the night and leave it overnight for better results.

Glycerine

Dark spots can be treated with glycerine as well, as glycerine can rejuvenate the skin back to its original texture. Creams with a glycerine base can be used for treating dark spots. Alternately, for preparing a cream to fade away your dark spots, get glycerine from the drug store. Take an herbal cream that suits your skin well and add a few drops of glycerine into it. Mix it well into the cream and use the cream every day for lightening the dark spots.

Neem and Rose Water

Grind a handful of neem leaves using rose water and apply a thick layer on your face.Leave it for 30 minutes and then wash your face with lukewarm water.Neem contain antibacterial and healing properties that removes bacteria from skin care surface that causes pimples and helps in the reduction of spots and blemishes.

Strawberry 

Strawberries have enzymes which are very efficient to lighten and treat the black spots on the face, acne marks, dark spots. This remedy should be tried 3 times in a week for better results. Take a slice of strawberry and rub that on the face concentrating on the black spots and other spots. Keep it overnight and wash in the morning to fade the black spots on face.

White Vinegar

White vinegar clears your skin of any discoloration or black spots. It is an effective ingredient for getting a flawless and glowing skin. Simply mix equal quantities of white vinegar and water, and apply this mixture on the affected area for about 5 minutes, before washing it off with water. With regular use, your skin tone will
lighten and you will have an even complexion.
